Martijn Fokker rejoins our design department
This is a man who loves the impossible. After seven years, we welcome Martijn Fokker back to the Comtest family. “I have been working at Comtest for 16 years and thought it was time for something different, but there’s something about these chamber projects that kept me coming back,” says Martijn.

We were surprised by the results of our poll to determine if the market prefers end caps on their absorbers. The results were quite clear! Two responses received 88% of the votes, leaving little room for the other two options.
End caps can be viewed as a luxury rather than an immediate necessity for a well-performing chamber. Yet, 80% of our clients choose optional end caps for their test chambers. Why is that? Through this poll, we aim to understand which function of end caps is considered most valuable.
The question was: ‘What would be your main reason for adding end caps to your test chamber?’
The results:
As shown in the image, end caps not only protect the tips of the absorbers but also create a bright and fresh working environment compared to chambers without end caps. This is, of course, subjective and not driven by technical arguments.
If you wish to explore the possibilities of adding end caps to your chamber or replacing the old ones, please get in touch with one of our technical consultants: Marc Le Roy, Hanneke Mertens – van Veen, Uliana Trucchi, or Vincent van de Vrie.
