Martijn Fokker rejoins our design department
This is a man who loves the impossible. After seven years, we welcome Martijn Fokker back to the Comtest family. “I have been working at Comtest for 16 years and thought it was time for something different, but there’s something about these chamber projects that kept me coming back,” says Martijn.

This week, we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Comtest Engineering with our colleagues, beginning with the unveiling of our special 40th anniversary logo on the office façade.
Comtest originated in the Zoeterwoude and Leiden regions in the Netherlands and has supplied test chambers worldwide since 1985. The members of the De Groot family grew up in this area, and Hein de Groot, the founder, lived on a farm near where Rembrandt’s father is believed to have lived in a windmill. Many of our colleagues are also from there.
Bas de Groot, Managing Director of Comtest: “Although we help companies with our solutions all over the world, we will always maintain a strong bond with the region. We are continually improving our products, and as a result, we are growing organically as well. We hope to find the handful of new colleagues we are looking for from close around the company.”
Are you interested in managing our global projects or coordinating a few of them? We are looking for a Manager of Operations and a Project Manager for International Installations to join the Comtest family.
