Martijn Fokker rejoins our design department
This is a man who loves the impossible. After seven years, we welcome Martijn Fokker back to the Comtest family. “I have been working at Comtest for 16 years and thought it was time for something different, but there’s something about these chamber projects that kept me coming back,” says Martijn.

This week, our technical consultant for the USA, Vincent van de Vrie, and Rik de Groot (in the photo) from DMAS are demonstrating our new concept for the antenna market at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in San Francisco.
Vincent van de Vrie: “On the back wall of the booth, we challenge visitors to explore if they really need a premium shielding antenna test chamber, or if they can suffice with one of our basic chamber solutions. And it works!
We are speaking to many visitors from all over the world who are surprised that often a basic solution can meet their needs instead of a premium chamber. We still have a day to go, but for me, attending IMS 2025 has been very rewarding.”
If you cannot attend IMS 2025 and are interested in determining whether a basic DIY solution for antenna testing will meet your needs, please don’t hesitate to contact Vincent van de Vrie via LinkedIn. He will help you find a worry-free solution.
The IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) is organised by the IEEE Microwave Theory & Technology Society, and co-located with the IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium (RFIC) and the @Automatic Radio Frequency Techniques Group (ARFTG) Conference from 15-20 June at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA.
