Martijn Fokker rejoins our design department
This is a man who loves the impossible. After seven years, we welcome Martijn Fokker back to the Comtest family. “I have been working at Comtest for 16 years and thought it was time for something different, but there’s something about these chamber projects that kept me coming back,” says Martijn.

Edwin: “This chamber used to be a shielded room in Singapore. It was stripped, and we installed horizontal and vertical stirrers. We work with a local team of installers, and I’m there to ensure everything will be delivered within the Comtest standards. I know all the possible challenges when upgrading a chamber that was initially built by another company. And that’s why we accomplished this project perfectly within two days.”
Returning to the office? “Not quite. Shortly after returning to The Netherlands, I was sent to Estonia for door and turntable maintenance. Next week, I’ll likely be in France, and at the beginning of the new year, I plan to be in the US. I work with various installation teams, and adapting to different cultures and mentalities can be challenging. So I set clear goals and communicated them with the team, and until now, I have always delivered my projects on time, on spec and budget.”
